My name
is Lori Lee and I am originally from Gulfport, Mississippi. My
love for animals was instilled in me from a very young age. My
family has always had pets of all kinds; i.e. cats, dogs, rabbits,
snakes, birds, rats, fish, etc. I knew I wanted to have a job
that involved animals so I found myself a position as a groomer's
assistant. From there I went on to become a bird trainer
at Marine Life Oceanarium, and then a vet assistant at the Pet
Clinic in Biloxi. After hurricane Katrina, I came to
Louisville and became the manager at Barkstown Doggy Daycare.
I decided to pursue a career as a veterinary technician so I
enrolled in Brown Mackie College's Vet Tech program. I spent
some time in training in the field at Louisville Metro Animal
Services' Shelter. Now I live in Corydon, and I am happy to be
working at the Old Capital Veterinary Hospital. I am certain
that your pet will receive the care and compassion it deserves here
at our
hospital.
